TikTok is a social media platform that can be a fun and creative outlet for students, however, the content posted by users is not always wholesome and can contain explicit language, suggestive themes, and lewd gestures.
The platform is highly addictive and has the potential to become a big classroom distraction. Patrick Greene, a technology teacher, when asked about TikTok said, “TikTok is a waste of time. Students make those silly videos during my class and it impacts their grade because they aren’t working”.
If your students' use of TikTok is becoming a concern and impacting negatively on your classroom, with Mobile Guardian, you can either block TikTok entirely or use the timetable to schedule when your students can access TikTok on their mobile devices. Follow our guide on how to do so here.
To block TikTok on your student’s mobile devices with Mobile Guardian, follow these steps.
